As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing complex construction projects, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. This position provides critical support to project teams and serves as a primary point of contact for project execution and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, contracts, and drawings to determine construction requirements and develop execution plans.
- Manage overall project performance, including scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, cost, and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide status updates and performance reports to executive management.
- Ensure compliance with IEW’s Project Management and Safety Standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure performance is aligned with project scope.
- Maintain accurate and consistent submittal logs, schedules, and reports as requested.
- Oversee the safety training and equipment allocation for all team members involved in the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in construction project management.
- Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to adapt to changes, manage competing demands, and address unexpected challenges effectively.
- Strong focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and quality in work execution.
